NUU
Concurrent's Network Update Utility
NUU is an open source project which provides a graphical user
interface that allows a user to install and update software
from YUM software repositories.
Concurrent provides NUU and software repositories to allow
you to install and update your Concurrent software products
via the Internet.
Concurrent Product Repositories
The following Concurrent products can be installed and
updated with NUU:
- RedHawk Platforms
- NightStar RT
- MAXAda
- Fortran 77
- AXI for MAXAda

The following document describes the QuickStart
procedure for downloading NUU and performing
the initial configuration steps.
QuickStart.pdf
Select the appropriate tar file for your
operating system and download it:
After downloading, refer to the QuickStart.pdf file
for installation and configuration instructions.
You can subsequently return to this page to download updated
installation kits as more products become available via NUU.
For Concurrent customers do not have access to Concurrent's network
from their secure systems, web-based browsing of Concurrent's software
repositories is available. You can locate software updates and download
them for subsequent transport to secured areas.
Browse Repositories
For Concurrent customers who prefer physical media or do not have access to
Concurrent's network from their secured systems, update CDs can be requested
by contacting Concurrent Software Distribution at softdist@ccur.com.
You can create update CD ISO 9660 images for your site and immediately download them
using the following link: Create Update CD Images
When downloading NUU from the links above, the installation
process automatically configures your system with the
repository URLs appropriate for your system.

When manually installing these URLs in your YUM configuration, you will need to:
- Add your redhawk.ccur.com login ID and password after the Login= and Password= characters in each URL requiring those fields.
- Disable GPG checking (i.e. gpgcheck=0).
Concurrent signs selected RPMs with a GPG-generated DSA and ElGamal key pair.
Some installation techniques require Concurrent's public key to be installed on your system
so that the authenticity of these RPMs can be verified.
You can directly import the key into your system's RPM database via the following command:
rpm --import http://redhawk.ccur.com/updates/RPM-GPG-KEY-ccur
Alternatively, you can download the GPG Public Key File
and import the key into your system's RPM database via the following command:
rpm --import=RPM-GPG-KEY-ccur
